Ulriaca Hydman Swedish Design Art Glass

This iconic piece of art glass is designed by celebrated Swedish artist , Ulrica Hydman-Vallien. 

A superb piece being signed both to the exterior and etched on the base reading "Kosta Boda, Artist call, Ulrica HV' and is numbered 48745. 

This is a large example of her work , the vase measuring a substantial 36 cm high and approximately 17 cm at widest.

The design is that of the "Open Minds" series and this particular piece is presented in a shade of dark pink. 

The condition is excellent throughout, no damage , no chips , no wear.

About: Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938-2018) was one of Swedens most prominent glass designers. She is known for her bold creativity expressing vibrant colours and provocative shapes. Her designs were used on high quality crystal ware manufactured by Kosta Boda, who collaborated with other acclaimed artists such as Bertie Villein and Asa Jungnelius.
