Nine Peaches Chinese Vase

A most exquisite example of this ancient Chinese ceramic design.

This beautiful bottle shaped vessel features a design of Nine Peaches and Bats in fight symbolising longevity in Chinese culture.

Being hand thrown in years past, this antique item exhibits  a fine crazing to the enamel, throughout where expansion and contraction of the ceramic and glaze has occurred. 

An indistinct overglaze stamp mark in Red suggests this item may have been drilled in the past and subsequently restored.  18th to 19th century Qing Dynasty period
