Crown Ducal Beehive Jug, 1930s

This bright and jazzy jug carries the backstamp of Crown Ducal and is an interesting example of production from the late 1920s or early 1930s.

Possibly from the hands of Charlotte Rhead, one of the great ceramic designers of the period along with contemporaries such as Suzi Cooper and Clarice Cliffe. The jug features raised tube line type dots typical of Rheads art.

In super condition, no chips , no cracks, no repairs.
