Brrr its cold

Brrrr, it’s cold. Normally I’d be cuddled up along with the cat, in front of the gas fire to get warm, but Mr Putin had a go at turning the gas supply pipes off and gas prices went through the roof so... I took the gas fire out and had it replaced with an electric one.

It was not a good move, the electricity prices then went through the roof, so I turned that heater off too.

I did think about a wood burner, but I’d have hoards of new world eco warriors banging on the door telling me I was single handedly killing our future generations with smog.

The cat is disgusted with me, she’s gone out to find a warm radiator in someone else’s house.

So where are we?.
