Charles Collis Royal Doulton

 A tall and elegant antique vase from the factory of Royal Doulton, England circa 1900 and signed C Collis.

The vase has been modified in the past and now is presented as a striking table lamp.

Now fitted with a UK standard bayonet fit 22mm lamp holder, vintage look-a-like 3 core fabric flex and a good quality 2 layer, satin shade.

The lamp base stands 40 cm tall, and when the shade is fitted it is 63cm tall approx.

Condition: Clean and in good order. Signs of crazing and minor restoration, (see photographs)

To the base is the stamp mark for Royal Doulton together with the signature of Charles Collis.  Charles Collis was a senior designer at Royal Doulton for just a few years during the turn of the 19th century and this is a rare example of his work at that time.
